So, what's this Liebster award about? Well, it is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. “Liebster” is German for “favorite”. So I guess it is the “favorite blog award”. Ha-ha!

I wanted to make this post to remind you that having a food blog requires a lot of dish washing, patience, tolerance from the hubs, and a lot of effort.

So, to celebrate my dad, this last Sunday I made some Carne Asada, loaded double baked potatoes and some Jalapeño poppers (with no bread but with bacon).

So last week Carlos, my sister's boyfriend from Barcelona, came to Mexico to visit her and to... meet the family!! So, he stuffed tried different food like mole, cochinita pibil (pork with adobo) and many different things, but on Thursday we made Carne Asada so that he could try one of the most valuable traditions in Northern Mexico. And it's not valuable only for the delicious meal, but for the family time. For many weeks, I wanted to share with you this tradition, so here it is, my family's Carne Asada.

Bilingual Recipe Cards {English + Spanish}

I just wanted to let you know, that as many people has been asking me, I'm going to keep posting recipes as I usually do, but at the end, you will find a recipe card displaying the recipe name, a picture, the ingredients, the directions and serving suggestions.

I will keep posting the step-by-step pictures, but at the very end you will find these cards, with the summary. You can always copy-paste them if you want to save them, print them, etc.

I'm starting to place these cards in each recipe post, but as you may wonder, it will take some time. So, as a hint, I'll tell you that the order I'm following is the order the recipes follow in the Recipe page, alphabetically.
