I love salads. I love potato. I like egg. So, why not make an egg potato salad? I've done potato salad. I've done egg salad. So I made a mix. Egg potato salad. And it was good. Really good. The hubs loved it. And I loved it too.
These amazing cookies are so good!! I have always wanted to make chocolate (or double chocolate, even better!) cookies, but for some reason, I always ended up making sugar cookies, pecan cookies, chocolate chips cookies, but never, ever chocolate cookies.
So finally, last week, when the hubs was on a business trip and I was all by myself, with Princesa at home, I decided to make them. So I looked at Annie's recipe and decided to give it a try, based on her recipe.
So last week Carlos, my sister's boyfriend from Barcelona, came to Mexico to visit her and to... meet the family!! So, he
stuffed tried different food like mole, cochinita pibil (pork with adobo) and many different things, but on Thursday we made Carne Asada so that he could try one of the most valuable traditions in Northern Mexico. And it's not valuable only for the delicious meal, but for the family time. For many weeks, I wanted to share with you this tradition, so here it is, my family's Carne Asada.
I've been craving for Apple Pie for weeks, and finally, this past weekend was the perfect excuse to bake it. I don't wanted it so sweet, but like sweet-n-sour, and the taste was perfect!! I'm definitely baking this often, the hubs loved it (he H-A-T-E-S apple pie), granpa loved it, mom loved it, everyone did!
We love pizza. The hubs loves them more than I, but I still love them too. The thing is, I try not to eat pizza very often. But these thin pita pizzas are amazing. They are so thin, so crunchy, and so healthy, I guess. More than regular pizza, at least. And the best thing, is you can add many things as you like! Onion, peppers, pineapple, veggies, broccoli, garlic, ham, sausage, mini meatballs, chicken, anything!
I've been looking for lighter recipes, both in fat and red meat contents. Today I decided to give it a try and stuff peppers with rice and veggies, and pork! The taste is amazing, is the perfect balance between sweet and salt. You should definitely try them!
